Everything on this page fits in five minutes. Print it, or keep it open on your phone next to the podium.

The night before

• Run the deck once for yourself. Present to an empty room and vote from your own phone. This catches a mistyped option or an over-short countdown before anyone else sees it.
• Put the QR code on your opening slide. Latecomers can always type the 5-digit code at doppio.us instead.
• Check the presenting machine. It needs Chrome, the Doppio extension, and the same Google account you use in Slides, signed in and ready.

At the podium

• Plug in. Present from a machine that stays awake and online; a sleeping laptop ends the show for newcomers after about ten minutes.
• Open the deck in Chrome and click the Doppio extension icon.
• Press Start Presentation shortly before you invite the scan. Anyone who scans early sees a waiting screen that holds for two minutes before asking them to try again.

Mid-talk rescue card

If this happens	Do this
Phones stopped following your slides	Press Stop Presentation, then Start Presentation. Same code; the audience rejoins right where you are.
Someone can't join	Have them type the 5-digit code at doppio.us. Check a session is actually running.
The chart is missing from a slide	Open the Doppio sidebar: Re-add chart puts it back, or Suspend poll benches the poll for this run.
The audience is larger than expected	Live audience size is unlimited on every plan. Check the room's connection and keep presenting. See Plans & limits.
Results are still covered	Check the poll's Flow setting. The reveal may be timed, manual, or on another slide.
A timer has not started	Tap it to start, or check whether automatic start was intended.
A results slide shows zero votes	Check that you have already reached its source question in this session.

Packing up

Press Stop Presentation. It closes voting, ends the session, and files the results in your dashboard. Make it part of the ritual, like taking the clicker out of your pocket.
